“Photography is my passion. After studying it fulltime at the National College of Photography, I decided to make my hobby my work. Giving shape to the thoughts and ideas in my mind on a photograph is the most satisfying feeling. I love working with people and capturing their special moments, expressions and emotions into memories that will last a lifetime. I thank God for His hand in everything I do!” If you want to list on the site mail us at info@weddingphotographerhub.com

Even before I became a professional photographer I was interested in stories and storytelling and how our stories define who we are. Through photography I found a universal way to tell stories that are instantly created – each image a snippet of the whole story, yet a story in itself.
In wedding photography my goal is to document the whole story of the day with images that are candid, beautiful and honest. I strive to capture the natural beauty in the most mundane, everyday moments. No glance is insignificant, no smile too common. These moments are the ones that tell the real story of your wedding day.
The other stories I love to tell are mainly focussed around pregnant mothers, newborns and babies of all ages. As with weddings, I feel privileged to be part of such an important time in a family’s lives.
Portrait Journalism
My work exhibits a unique blend of photojournalistic and bold portrait styles. This style (called Portrait Journalism) has evolved into the most popular form of wedding photography. Portrait Journalism is the perfect blend of Traditional and Photojournalism photography. It creates a collection of images with a combination of dramatic creative portraits of the Bride and Groom, and a large selection of shots that are natural, spontaneous and unposed – capturing your family and friends in a way that minimizes the posed look and the awkward interruptions throughout the day.

From this page you will be able to view my portfolio, have a look at what packages I have to offer and also get some useful information about hiring a wedding photographer. I operate from Port Elizabeth in South Africa but am more than happy travel if you need me to.
One of the things I’ve noticed over the years, is that if you are not comfortable with your wedding photographer, your wedding photos are not going to look as good as that portfolio you’ve just been admiring. You have to, out of necessity, interact with your photographer throughout the big day and getting on well with the photographer helps to get those perfect photos you’re after.
My style of wedding photography is very casual, I prefer the photojournalist approach. That means that I photograph events as they happen and with little direction by me. For example, for the post ceremony photos, when we arrive at the location that we’ve chosen for the shoot, I turn you loose to enjoy each others company and photograph you from a distance (most of the time), these photos are, after all, about you as a couple and I would like to capture you as naturally as possible. Have a look at the articles section (link at the top of the page), I’ve spent some time collecting useful information (not written by me
That section will expand as I work on it. My portfolio can be viewed by clicking the photo gallery link at the top of this page.
Lastly, have a look at the packages I have to offer and download a copy of the photography contract if you wish. If you like what you see on this site, contact me and we can arrange a meeting, that way you’ll know for sure if you want me to take your wedding photos. I offer DVD slideshow which has to be seen to be appreciated (I’ll bring a copy with me when we meet) Also, please remember that photos viewed on a computer screen are never as sharp as a printed photo, the images have to be compressed to minimize download times…

Using the best Canon equipment the business can afford, which means upgrading all the time, I do event and wedding photography. I also do Wildlife photography. I am one of the hosts on the Just South African Photography website, where I will admit to entering anonymously. My photos however can never win because I eliminate them from the finalists.

Henk Prinsloo grew up in the unadulterated beauty of the Overberg in South Africa. Being both a right and left brainer, Henk decided to study Information Technology, while moonlighting with his creativity.
Art became his passion stretching beyond a hobby to a means of expression and communication. He started painting in oil selling his work in galleries. After studying Information Technology, Henk worked successfully as a computer programmer for six years, both in South Africa and also in the United States. It was during this time that his artistic medium went from canvas to camera – his palette of visual arts would now include photography.
Your wedding day is such a climactic moment – an amalgam of cherished people and harbored dreams, leaving only a trail of memories behind… Capturing those memories is imperative and that is Henk’s forte. Henk’s style weds fashion photography and photo journalism, with a unique ability to create atmosphere in each photo. His inherent sense and trained eye can see the moment come before it reveals itself.
An artist, photographer, musician, husband and father, Henk has had numerous clientele from countries including the United States, United Kingdom and South Africa, resulting in a myriad of satisfied couples. The Prinsloo family currently resides in Palm Bay (Melbourne), Florida.
